PAThe Duke of Edinburgh is at it again after managing to insult some women at the opening of a community centre in London today.
While visiting Chadwell Heath Community Centre in Dagenham, Prince Phillip – who is a whopping 94 years of age these days – asked a group of women “who do you sponge off?”
It was after the Prince left the centre that a trustee of the centre, Nusrat Zamir, claimed the husband of Her Majesty had made the gaffe.
PAShe said: “The Duke said to us “who do you sponge off?” We’re all married so it’s our husbands. He was just teasing and it’s similar to what I call my husband – the wallet.”
The girls who work at the community centre prepared a large sponge cake for the royal couple, but we assume they passed.
The comment comes a week after he was caught on camera telling a photographer to “hurry up and take the f*cking picture”. It seems he Duke is looking to go out with a bang in his old age!
