The first legal marijuana vaporiser has finally hit the UK, but before all standard users rejoice and get a bit too excited – it’s purely for medicinal use, sorry guys.
Creators of the MediPen say their device contains a strong dose of CBD – an ingredient in the cannabis plant which can be used for a variety of health uses from treating cancer to depression. However, CBD doesn’t give off any of the psychoactive effects associated to weed.
One of the users of the MediPen, Amy Yapp, suffers with muscular pain, aches and tenderness and made a video to review the new ground-breaking device. Amy doesn’t normally use the green stuff, but she was in so much pain that she decided to give it a go and take part in the trial. She said despite the fact she still had uncomfortable twinges, the pain was a lot less than usual and she didn’t have to use as many other meds.
In a video she posted a bit later on she added, ‘I’ve finally found something I’m happy with.’
Other users have also taken to Facebook to applaud MediPens new vaporiser, with Val Aviv, saying:
I’ve had my medipen for a week now and it’s helped me control my moods way better! My partner is over the moon for himself..Apparently I’m a much nicer person to be around.. Thanks Medipen – Hope you grow big as a company, so that the price can come down just a touch!
Another user, Beth Oliver said: “Very helpful for my chronic pain caused by EDS, a few puffs lower my pain levels more than conventional painkillers, and without the nasty side effects.” Both gave 5* reviews, so they must be doing something right!
