Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have trademarked their two-week-old baby son’s name, Psalm, allowing them to use it exclusively for any number of products they sell under their business empire.
Kerching.
According to TMZ, Kim K filed for ‘trademark protection’ of Psalm’s name under her company, meaning she can slap it on basically anything she sells now – from hair accessories to personal appearances to puzzles, pens and ‘collectible trading cards’.

The Kardashian-West’s received a lot of criticism for the now trademarked name, ‘Psalm’. Some felt the religious name wasn’t befitting the couple’s lifestyle.
Others speculated perhaps the name was a nod to Kanye’s Sunday Service at Coachella earlier this year, which is also a bit weird.

The move to trademark their infant son’s name has also been met with criticism, with Twitter users pointing out that the name was already trademarked by err, God?
While brand-naming your baby is maybe a ethically questionable, is anyone really surprised? Besides, at least Psalm will never be short of pocket money.
I wonder if North, Saint and Chicago are jealous of their baby brother’s branding?
The devil works hard, but the Kardashian-Wests work harder.
