Just days after the worst terrorist attack on British soil in over ten years, the RAF are seeking sweet retribution as this image which was posted to Twitter shows.
The image, as I’m sure you can all see for yourselves, shows a Paveway IV bomb onboard an RAF jet in Cyprus heading to ISIS territory with the words ‘love from Manchester’ scribbled across it in marker pen.
Although there were earlier accusations that the image was fake, the RAF have since confirmed to The Telegraph that the images are indeed authentic – however it is not known who wrote the words of revenge.
The RAF source said:
The sentiment of the message written on the weapon is understandable and such writing has history in the RAF, so the individual concerned will not be taken to task.
Personally I can agree with the thirst for retaliation in the dark days following the Ariana Grande suicide attack which left 22 people, almost all of them innocent children, dead.
I just sure hope the bomb does indeed touch down on an ISIS stronghold and not on some other Middle Eastern ground where a dozen or so other innocents will be killed and nobody will shed a tear – all for political gain.
