Reason Calvin Harris And Taylor Swift Split Up Is Pretty Ridiculous

Taylor Swift – mega pop star, multi-millionaire, #squadgoals creator, and too-perfect-to-be-human role model – try and step on her and you will get crushed.

Calvin Harris did, and boy did she let him know it. And Harris is having fucking none of it. Not one bit.

When news broke that Taylor Swift wrote Harris and Rihanna’s hit ‘This Is What You Came For’ in People Magazine – to put it lightly – shit hit the fan.

Here’s what happened. Earlier on Wednesday, TMZ reported that Swift and Harris knew the song would be a hit but didn’t want to let the world know they collaborated, so Taylor kept the publishing rights and used the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg on the credits.

Fast forward to April 29 – Harris releases the song with Rihanna and it becomes a instant chart topper. All great, right? Apparently not.

When Harris appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and Ryan asked, “Will you do a collaboration with your girlfriend?” the DJ responded, “You know we haven’t even spoken about it. I can’t see it happening though,” which I mean, is exactly what they agreed upon. He’s just playing the part.

But Taylor was hurt for some reason and apparently that was the ‘breaking point’ in their relationship. Cue the Taylor Swift PR machine.

And Calvin Harris had a few strong words for Swifty:

Then he goes in for the kill:

Katy Perry’s response was arguably even better:

She also retweeted one of her own tweets from May 9:

Fair play to him. Outing his ex but keeping it tasteful and wishing her (and everyone else) well.

Looks like he may just have more class than Swift.
