Capcom have dropped the T-virus encrusted bombshell that Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 will be coming to current-gen consoles this year. Groovy.
The announcement was made through Capcom’s blog and is part of the game series’ 20th anniversary celebrations – the original Resident Evil game was released way, way back in 1996. If that’s not enough to make you feel old, I don’t know what is.
The releases will be staggered, with Resident Evil 6 coming March 29 with all add-on content included. Following that, Resident Evil 5 will rear its head some time in the summer, and Resident Evil 4 shuffling along behind this autumn. There’s even a lovely little trailer that tells you everything you need to know below.
The games will cost £16 a pop on both Playstation 4 and Xbox One and are currently only being released digitally.
