Eternal zombie botherers will be happy to hear that there have been a couple of new teaser trailers released for the much anticipated Resident Evil 7.

The pair of trailers dropped over the weekend and – as is customary with Resident Evil – raise more questions than they answer. Titled Resident Evil 7: Vol.1 “Mysterious Caller and Resident Evil 7: Vol.2 “Shotgun in the box”, you can check them out below.

People have been hard at work speculating who the voice in the first tape is, with most people assuming it to be series veteran Ada Wong. However, GameSpot reckon they’re closer with Sheva Alomar from Resident Evil 5. Personally I’m just waiting for Ashley from Resi 4 to bleet out “Leon! Help!”  and send me into a heated fit of rage.

It’s also interesting to note that the end of each tape indicated they are two in a series of five, possibly leading to a full trailer released afterwards. It should be pointed out though, that Capcom haven’t stated anything for sure at this point.

Resident Evil 7 is scheduled for release on January 24 2017, but you can download and play the Beginning Hour demo right now.
