Robber Tries Stealing Cash From Shop, Female Assistant Has None Of It

A shop assistant in Russia has been hailed as a hero after fighting off a robber who pointed a weapon at her.

She point-blank refused to hand over any cash to him over the till and instead repeatedly hit the attacker around the head and tried to steal his weapon.

The shocking CCTV footage – which has emerged online – shows the robber was put in his place as the assistant chats for nearly two minutes with him, in hope that someone else will walk in.

The way she looks while chatting to him is like any bored supermarket assistant dealing with a pain-in-the-arse customer.

When the crook finally tries to get a word in to announce that he’s robbing the store, the assistant grapples with him before punching him right in the gob and tries to grab the steel bar he is using to threaten her.

The robber – who was probably expecting an easier ride – fled into the street, with the assistant chasing after him. She is then seen re-entering the shop to grab her phone and alert the police.

Police say the suspect has a string of previous convictions for theft and robbery, with the incident taking place in in Khanty-Mansiysk, a town in central Russia.

She’s being labelled as a heroine for fighting back and it’s no wonder why. Fair play to her!
