Roger Federer has yet again proved he’s an absolute top bloke. The Swiss tennis superstar was signing autographs for fans when he noticed the crowd rush forward and squash a young boy. He quickly got the lad out of there.
After plucking him from the crowd you can see that the boy was clearly distressed. Federer calmly goes on to sign his novelty tennis ball and cap, as security makes an attempt to tame the scrum of fans.
Prior to saving a child from a stampede of humans The Fed smashed John Isner in straight sets at the U.S Open. The veteran will hit the court next to play Richard Gasquet in a quarter final.
