Ronda Rousey’s ‘Fiance’s’ Current Wife Speaks Out, Accuses Him Of Domestic Violence

The rumour mill is working overtime after Ronda Rousey appeared on Saturday Night Live sporting what appeared to be an engagement ring, but the situation is far more complex than first thought.

It turns out that Rousey’s MMA star boyfriend, Travis Browne, is already married and his current wife has a warning for the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion.

Taking to Instagram, Jenna Renee Webb made pretty clear accusations that Browne had domestically abused her, and that they are still married.

She wrote:

Pet Peeve: When people think they can do stupid shit and not get called out on it…. I’m pretty sure we’re still married. When he hits you across your pretty face don’t worry, I’ll be right here to say #IToldYouSo I wish you both the best.

Kudos to the people with a strong enough backbone to take ownership of the decisions they make, wether good or bad, mistakes or not–who don’t try to cover their tracks by changing their story to please society.. According to the Daily Mail, Browne has previously denied the allegations and was cleared by a UFC commissioned third-party investigation.

Renee Webb has countered that defence with images of the injuries she says Browne inflicted on her.

My response to John Fosco’s assertion that I may have personally inflicted these bruises and wounds on my body is totally absurd. I challenge anyone to view the photohraphs of this abuse and conclude that I did this to myself. I would take issue with anyone that would suggest that these bruises came from any type of workout that I would do in my fitness profession. Furthermore I find it utterly ridiculous that you would admit infidelity on the part of travis as a way to make him look better in this situation. I never said a word about infidelity, I didn’t play that card. I was only concerned about the issue of domestic violence and how it affects other people. The infidelity that you refer to is not brought up by me. It happened and I know it happened, however that is a personal issue that I have to deal with. Travis abused me. He abused me physically. He abused me mentally and emotionally. However, I find it unbelievable that you would be suggesting that I should have considered going to the authorities instead of social media. Going to the authorities means having Travis arrested, going to jail, charged with a felony, losing his career and possibly losing his kids. I chose not to do this, and continue not to do this because I have addressed my message to domestic victims everywhere. My goal is not to hurt Travis but to help present and future victims by creating awareness. Domestic violence is not acceptable and he will be held responsible in the court of common morality.

Their is no confirmation from either Ronda Rousey or Browne as to their current relationship status, but Browne has previously made his feelings known.

He told MMA Hour:

Dating is for children. Dating is for kids. Over the summer, through all the shit that I had to shuffle through, that I had to sift through, Ronda and I started talking throughout the summer and I’ll say now that we are together.

She’s my woman and I’m her man. There’s no boyfriend, girlfriend stuff. There’s no dating. We’re together.
