It’s a proud moment for any parent when a child shows off their starry abilities for the first time.
Whether they are a nose picking Joseph in the nursery nativity, or the clumsiest swan in their first ballet recital; you can rest assured the resulting footage will be preserved in amber for future 21st birthday bashes.
For me, it was playing Fred Astaire in a school show. My cardboard top hat kept getting knocked off and the photo of seven-year-old me beaming toothlessly in tails will no doubt serve to put off potential boyfriends for many years to come.
Now, when you are the daughter of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, these formative experiences are of course a tad different and – dare I say – actually cool.
Omg this is so cute

At first, Taylor Swift fans were mystified as to who the adorable baby voice was at the start of her track Gorgeous.
However, it quickly became apparent the voice belonged to none other than James Reynolds who, at just three-years-old, has had more influence on popular culture than many of us ever will.
James utters just one word – gorgeous – but she says it well and easily holds her own in the impossibly catchy song. And her parents could not be more thrilled.
The baby voice in Gorgeous is Blake and Ryan's daughter!

An eagle eyed fan spotted the Hollywood couple seated beside Gigi Hadid at a sold-out Taylor Swift gig in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Saturday 28 July.
And when it came to James’ big part, Ryan and Blake could barely contain their excitement; jumping up and down and grinning from ear to ear.

Fans cannot get enough of the parents’ supportive reaction, captured perfectly in footage which has since gone viral.
One person tweeted:

Another said:

It will come as no surprise to Swifties that the Reynolds family have close-knit ties to the famously confessional singer-songwriter.
Ryan and Blake have long been part of Taylor’s much discussed squad and were even featured on her gossip-inducing Junior Jewels shirt in her Look What You Made Me Do video.
Taylor’s famous cats Olivia and Meredith even had a cameo in Deadpool 2.
According to Elle, the story behind James’ inclusion was revealed at a secret listening party.
A Twitter user who attended the exclusive gathering later imparted this knowledge to eager fans:
Taylor was with Blake and Ryan at the beach and was playing gorgeous for them on her guitar, and then their daughter, James, kept saying “gorgeous” over and over
.. so Taylor was like, “could i use that?” and the intro was born.

Although James has shown star quality, it is unlikely her parents will be pushing her further into show business.
Speaking on Good Morning America, protective dad Ryan said:
I mean, show business for kids, that’s a crazy pursuit.
Acting is great. Go theatre, school, that kind of thing, amazing. [But] I don’t know why you would put your kid in show business.
In response to James’ appearance on Taylor’s track, he added:
I don’t know about ‘starring’. That was a voice memo that ended up on a song, it’s pretty amazing. My daughter’s had a really terrible ego problem after that. She’s insufferable.
What great parents!
