Ryan Reynolds crashed an Eddie The Eagle press junket to interview Hugh Jackman with hilarious results.
The Deadpool star admits he doesn’t normally do things like this (he’s never conducted an interview) and his preparation leaves a lot to be desired when he claims that he may have written the questions before he saw the movie.
Things get off to a hilariously awkward start when his first question, ‘You play Eddie?’ leaves Jackman wondering whether Reynolds had watched the film.
He definitely hadn’t.
Undeterred, Reynolds presses on and manages to salvage the interview when he asks the question that’s been on everyone’s lips for years: “How much of Hugh Jackman’s immense success is raw talent, and how much is just advantageous bone structure?”
Reynolds also manages to tease a few acting tips from the Australian star, letting us all know that Jackman insists on doing all his own sex scenes. But that’s not a surprise – the man’s a professional.
Of course, no interview between the two Marvel movie stars would be complete without a few digs at the black sheep of the X-Men universe, X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
The film’s infamous treatment of Deadpool came up with Reynolds asking: “Did you guys get any notes from the studio to sew Eddie’s mouth shut… make lasers shoot from his eyes?”
The whole interview is honestly hilarious and it’s got us hoping that there’ll be a Wolverine/Deadpool cross over in the future.

He credits his success to three core techniques, name repetition, personality mirroring, and never breaking off a handshake.
