Bad news if you were planning to piss on the streets of San Francisco anytime soon: Officials are piloting a new paint that deflects urine back onto the offending pisser, taking splash-back to a whole new level.

Public peeing is a big problem in San Francisco, it’s been reported that the city spends $2 million a year cleaning up bodily fluids.

The paint, called Ultra-Ever Dry, uses special technology that reflects piss back onto the offender, potentially soaking their jeans/shoes.

The company that makes it says:

Ultra-Ever Dry uses proprietary omniphobic technology to coat an object and create a surface chemistry and texture with patterns of geometric shapes that have “peaks” or “high points”. These high points repel water, some oils, wet concrete, and other liquids unlike any other coating.

A similar scheme is already in place in Hamburg, and was the inspiration for officials in San Francisco.

This is terrible news for the drunken people of Britain, as pissing on everything is considered a national pastime, like cricket.

But seriously, it’s disgusting. Don’t do it.
