Tennis ace Serena Williams and her Reddit co-founder fiance Alexis Ohanian are heading home after welcoming a baby girl.
The couple introduced their new daughter on Instagram with Serena explaining they were finally leaving hospital after almost a week-long stay, due to complications with the birth.
Their daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, who was born on 1st September, even gets to share the same name as her famous father.
As well as Alexis’ first public photo and her name reveal, Serena also made a montage of memorable moments leading up to the birth – starting with her first ultrasound, before revealing the couple were going home with their daughter.
On her Instagram story, Serena said:
So we’re leaving the hospital after six, seven days.
It’s been a long time, but we had a lot of complications, but look who we got — we got a baby girl!
The couple decided not to find out whether they were having a boy or girl, leaving it as a surprise, but they both said they felt they were having a girl.
Congratulations guys! No doubt a superstar in the making!
