2015 has been a big year for Donald Trump, his bid to run for the American presidency in 2016 has seen him very much in the public eye, and very much open to criticism for his views.
So let’s cast our minds back and review some of the most ridiculous moments in Donald’s year.
Anti-Muslim Policy
One of the more recent chapters of Trump’s campaign trail, the man who started his career with a “small loan” of $1 million from his father, he declared his intention to close the US borders to all Muslims.
The incredibly prejudiced blanket-ban on members of Islam may have gone down well with some moronic corners of the American right, but thankfully it led to much of the world realising how disastrous his potential presidency could be.
The Great Wall Of Trump
The backward thinking of Mr. Trump was not reserved for just Muslim people either, Mexico was also high on the GOP candidates priorities.
How did Donald intend to solve the issue of illegal immigration? Well, after perhaps watching one episode of Game of Thrones too many, a plan for a giant border wall was revealed.
“I will build the best wall, the biggest, the strongest, not penetrable, they won’t be crawling over it, like giving it a little jump and they’re over the wall, it costs us trillions” he was reported as saying.
The overwhelming sentiment that followed was if it didn’t work for the Ming Dynasty, then it won’t work for Trump now.
Trump Got Trolled, Hard
The property tycoon fell victim to his own ego in a big way after he was targeted on social media for a hilarious public shaming.
One Twitter user requested a retweet in honour of their deceased parents because Trump has been an ‘inspiration’ to them.
One problem; the image included in the tweet was of Fred and Rose West the notorious British serial killers who tortured and murdered at least 12 young girls.
Smooth move Donald.
Trump Appears On SNL
To be the commander-in-chief it is obviously important to show you have a sense of humour, so Donald joined the crew of Saturday Night Live to exercise his funny bone.
With Drake’s Hotline Bling video spawning a host of funny memes and parodies, Trump got in on the act by showcasing his own brand of dancing to point out how Drake, much like himself, danced like a man who was out of touch and past his physical prime.
But I’ll be darned if being outdated isn’t precisely the type of character quality you want to emphasize as you bid to become leader of the free world.

Mocking A Disabled Reporter
No hiding from this one.
As Donald Trump delivered a televised speech he overtly mocked the disability of a journalist.
Serge Kovaleski, who suffers with a congenital condition that affects his joints, was the target while Trump tried to defend his anecdote of seeing thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrate 9/11.
Classy.
Fighting Sexist Comments With Sexist Comments
The lid was lifted on Donald Trump’s dislike of Megyn Kelly was explored after the two clashed during a debate Kelly hosted.
Within the debate, Kelly highlighted a string of sexist remarks from Trump, and following the debate and her accusations he responded maturely with even more sexism.
Referring to the fact he felt Kelly was gunning for him, Donald made a highly inappropriate reference to women having periods. Half the electorate alienated, well done.
Nazi Soldiers In Campaign Images
Finally Mr. Trump decided to cut out the middle man and leave clues as to his archaic world view.
Taking to Twitter again (haven’t you learned anything Donald?) to promote his slogan ‘Make America Great Again’, the business guru uploaded a patriotic image of himself, the White House, and some soldiers fighting for America’s freedom.
Except they weren’t fighting for that freedom at all. They were dressed to re-enact a WWII battle. Oh, and they were the Nazis. Soldiers of a fascist regime.
Just about summed Trump up.

Here’s to 2016 proving to embarrass this ridiculous caricature of a man further.
