Nevermind the heatwave we’ve been promised; you’ll want to keep your toes out of the water after seeing the trailer for upcoming summer shark movie, 47 Metres Down.
The movie sees the return of alleged teen heartthrob, Mandy Moore as Lisa, one of two adrenaline-junkie sisters holidaying together in Mexico.
Watch the results of their foray into shark diving in the trailer for 47 Metres Down below:
The pair, apparently missing the ‘DANGER: Great White Shark’ warnings littered on beach signs, decided to go cage diving with the sea predators.
Lisa and her sister Kate (played by Claire Holt) also chose to ignore the rusty cage equipment on board their boat, and as you can see from the above clip, lack of diligence does not pay – as any experienced diver would confirm.
Directed by Johannes Roberts, the two sisters are trapped in a shark cage at the bottom of the ocean, with less than an hour of oxygen left and those pesky great white sharks circling nearby.
Bloody horror, inevitably, ensues.
The film – also known as In The Deep – will be released in the US and UK in the summer of 2017.
