Actor and general crazy person Shia LaBeouf has been causing a stir again – this time he was arrested in Texas for being absolutely hammered and refusing to cooperate with police.
The 29-year-old’s “Just do it” mantra didn’t serve him too well on this occasion, as witnesses say Shia was completely smashed and out of control.
He was arrested and taken to taken to the Travis County Jail in Austin, Texas, and was charged with being drunk in public.
The trouble all started for the Transformers star after he and another woman were reportedly denied entry to a bar for being too intoxicated, and Shia began shouting and swearing at the bouncer and tried to force his way into the bar. He then began jaywalking in front of police officers, continuing to do so even after they told him to stop.
Austin police have released a short statement about the arrest:
Apparently, Shia was in the area for a music festival which is taking place this weekend.
This isn’t Shia’s first run in with the law – in June 2014, the actor was removed from a performance of Cabaret at Studio 54 in New York City after causing a scene and shouting, “Don’t you know who I am?” in classic Hollywood breakdown fashion.
