Shocking CCTV Footage Shows Teenager Attack Pensioner On Bus

Nasty footage has emerged from south east London where an 87-year-old woman was reportedly punched in the face on a bus by a teenage girl.

The incident – which took place in Croydon in mid-October – left the pensioner with a black eye.

She appeared to be punched by one of two teens, who had boarded the 166 bus without paying, according to Met detectives. The two girls than began arguing with the driver before this shameful incident occurred, officers said.

A female passenger than helped the alleged victim, before she was taken to St Helier Hospital. She was discharged the same day.

Police want to speak to both of the girls, described as black and aged between 14 and 18, who then fled the scene of Brighton Road, Coulston.

Police sergeant Arran Hillier, from the Croydon Safer Transport Team, told the Daily Mail:

This was a nasty attack on an elderly woman who just wanted to get home. I urge anyone who may recognise the suspects to contact the police.
