A high school student is facing much more than a detention, after pulling a stun gun on a teacher who tried to stop her fighting with a fellow pupil.
The unidentified Alabama teenager, who attends Mary G. Montgomery High School, was fighting another girl on Thursday afternoon before a teacher tried to intervene, according to the Alabama Media Group.
In the short clip, which was uploaded to Facebook, the male teacher is seen grabbing the student by the shoulders and pressing her against the wall.
But once he does that it prompts the girl to fire the stun gun at him, before she breaks free and runs away through a crowd of students.
Despite her attempt to flee, the student was arrested and taken to the Strickland Youth Center, a detention facility for youngsters.
It isn’t yet known how the student obtained the stun gun.
The teenager has been charged with felony assault for attacking the teacher and a misdemeanour assault for hitting the other girl in the face.
