GettyThe man responsible for the Jack Black death hoax has revealed that he’s holding Tenacious D’s Twitter account to ransom and has accessed the accounts of other celebs.
Speaking to The Mirror Online the hacker explained that he will not hand back control of the account until the Black gets in touch with him directly, saying ‘Jack doesn’t have his Twitter back’ and that he’s waiting for an email before he’ll return it return it to him.
The sinister cyber criminal also claims to have hacked into other celebrity accounts including those of singer Oli Sykes and perhaps worst of all the account of deceased Jackass star Ryan Dunn.
TwitterDunn’s account tweeted the warped message ‘Just met Tupac, real nice guy’ earlier today.
The hacker, who goes by the username @Ruthless claims to be a teenager who operates out of Brazil and, despite knowing he could face arrest for his crimes, may be planning to hack more celebrity accounts in the coming days
He explained:
If I was to get caught, it really wouldn’t surprise me. But then again, I couldn’t really give a flying fuck. If I get caught, I get caught. Nothing I can do at the end of the day.
GettyThe Internet went into meltdown this morning with Black’s fans left stunned when the ‘announcement’ was posted claiming Black had passed away on Sunday morning.
Only a few hours later however the hacker admitted the actor was still alive, writing: ‘Calm down guys! It’s just a prank bro, look there’s the camera… The Legend is still alive, it is ok guys :)’.
He said:
It is obvious how much the fans care, you can see that from the tweets I am receiving. But they should all be happy that it was a joke and not true.
TwitterThe hacker went on to say that he found it ‘funny’ how people had panicked.
@Ruthless is belived to have gained access to the account on Friday and rather tellingly the ‘death’ notice didn’t appear on their official Facebook or website.
When asked by The Mirror about the Ryan Dunn tweet, which had shocked fans of the late star whose account has been inactive since his fatal car crash back in 2011, the hacker explained that he believed Dunn would have found it funny.
