After playing Gandalf, Magneto and a host of other names everyone knows, McKellen knows how to promote a film and get the audiences interested.
In fact, he has probably done so many chat show interviews, he was happy to be asked to mix it up a bit, and did just that with his epic readings of a couple of chart hits for Yahoo.
McKellen read out the lyrics to both Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk and also Bad Blood by Taylor Swift, and did not disappoint, with his monotone voice and straight face really giving it a new dimension.
In fact, McKellen was so good, it not only has you laughing out loud, but also makes you want to go and watch his latest cinematic offering.
