Snoop Dogg has posted a photo depicting a dead Donald Trump in a body bag in what appears to be the cover for his latest album Make America Crip Again.
Snoop posted the photo on Instagram on Tuesday, and it’s almost identical to the cover for Ice Cube’s 1991 album Death Certificate.
Comments on the post turned into a heated political debate and argument among users, as to be expected, with some attacking the rapper for his use of imagery.

I’m not a huge Trump supporter but I’m also not gonna sit there and constantly bitch and whine about how he’s president. Like I’m not happy about it. Not one reason to wish someone dead.

I don’t even like Trump but you shouldn’t put a picture up indicating that you want the president dead. Like what problems does this solve? It just fuels arguments and divides us even more.
Like we get it Snoop u don’t like Trump, doesn’t mean that his life should be taken from him @snoopdogg cmon bruh. Have some class.
The rapper has previously expressed his hatred for Trump, back in March in his and BADBADNOTGOOD’s video for Lavender showed him carrying out a mock assassination on the president.
It shows a Trump character in clown face make-up being confronted by Snoop with what turns out to be a fake/toy gun.
At the time, Snoop said he included the scene in his video because ‘nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this f*cking clown as a president’.
Donald Trump reacted to the video suggesting ‘jail time’ was needed.
Trump insinuated Snoop had a ‘failing career’ and asked his followers what the response would have been if the rapper had pretended to shoot former-president Barack Obama.
Tweeting:
Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @snoopdogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!
After the video’s release, Snoop spoke to Billboard:
When I be putting sh*t out, I don’t ever expect or look for a reaction. I just put it out because I feel like it’s something that’s missing.
Any time I drop something, I’m trying to fill in a void. I feel like it’s a lot of people making cool records, having fun, partying, but nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this f*cking clown as president, and the sh*t that we dealing with out here, so I wanted to take time out to push pause on a party record and make one of these records for the time being.
Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen condemned the video, saying it is ‘plain disgraceful’ to mock a presidential assassination attempt on anybody.
He told TMZ:
It’s totally disgraceful. Snoop owes the president an apology.
There’s absolutely nothing funny about an assassination attempt on a president, and I’m really shocked at him, because I thought he was better than that.
Pretty sure Snoop knows what he’s doing.
