This weekend saw two huge events, first the north of England and Scotland were hit by Storm Desmond, causing power cuts and major disruption across the regions. Oh, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had a baby boy.
Both were trending on social media but some people, mostly Americans, thought that the storm’s hashtag was the name of Kim’s new bundle of joy.
Although in everyone’s defence, Kim and Kanye did pick a stupid name for their first kid, North, so it could have been true.
This is a bit embarrassing.
was I the only one who assumed storm desmond was the name of kim kardashian and kanye west's new baby?

The Brits were a bit smug.
Apparently there's been some confusion in America over #StormDesmond and Kim and Kanye's new baby. Love that.

Others wouldn’t put it past them.
I thought I just heard #StormDesmond was the name of Kim Kardashian and Kanye Wests new baby. It wouldn't surprise me though.

In all honesty we’ll probably find out in a few days what the new member of the West is called soon. I’m hoping for South.

He credits his success to three core techniques, name repetition, personality mirroring, and never breaking off a handshake.
