‘Cool game bro – needs more crabs’. I don’t know for sure, but I can only assume this is what YouTuber Limit Breakers thought when playing Dark Souls 3.
For reasons known only to Limit Breakers (and possibly their therapist), they’ve replaced every single texture in FromSoftware’s ultra challenging action RPG with crabs.
The combination of SpongeBob SquarePants, horrifically weird music, and crabs that permeate everything from menus to weapons to the sky itself all result in a terrifying crustacean based nightmare.
I know Dark Souls is a difficult game that can make people crabby, but this really is ridiculous (I’ll be waiting for the awards to pile in for that joke).
Anyway, you can watch the video below. I hope you like crab.
This is far from the first odd video Limit Breakers has put together for our (or maybe just their own) amusement.
Other highlights include a video ‘explaining’ why Infamous: First Light is their greatest game of all time, and another clip similar to the crab video that involves Shrek and Nick Cage.
How long before somebody steps up and speedruns Dark Souls 3: Crab Edition without taking any damage and never dodging? Make it happen, internet.
