Someone Projected ‘Sh*thole’ And Loads Of Poo Emojis Onto Trump’s Hotel

Earlier this week President Trump found himself in hot water, yet again, when he controversially described several African countries and Haiti as ‘sh*tholes’. 

Well, it seems what goes around comes around with one of Trump’s hotel’s being quite literally labelled a ‘sh*thole’ by artist Robin Bell.

Bell took Trump’s own hideously racist comments and turned them around on him projecting ‘This place is a sh*thole and several poop emojis onto Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Childish? Yes. Hilarious? You better believe it.

Other messages also mocked Trump’s presidency and called for people to stand against white supremacy and resist the president’s government.

The projections were designed by Robin Bell, the founder of video projection company Bell Visuals, who’s made headlines in the past for projecting other messages onto Trump’s buildings.

In the past, he’s projected  ’emoluments welcome’ and ‘pay Trump bribes here’ onto the hotel as well as ‘#SessionsMustGo’ and ‘I thought the KKK was OK until I learned that they smoked pot’ on to the Department of Justice building.

Trump’s been under pressure this week to apologise for alleged remarks where, during a discussion about VISA reform, he asked: ‘Why are we having all these people from sh*thole countries come here?’ after a lawmakers suggested granting visas to individuals from Haiti, El Salvador and multiple African countries.

Mr Trump has denied using the language reported.

A spokesperson for the United Nations human rights office, Rupert Colville, labelled the alleged comments as ‘racist’ and the African Union have demanded he apologise.

In a statement, the African Union said:

[Trump’s] remarks dishonour the celebrated American creed and respect for diversity and human dignity.

While expressing our shock, dismay and outrage, the African Union strongly believes that there is a huge misunderstanding of the African continent and its people by the current Administration.

There is a serious need for dialogue between the US Administration and the African countries.

Meanwhile closer to home both Republicans and Democrats have condemned the President’s ignorant comments.

The chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, Rep. Cedric Richmond said the alleged remarks were ‘confirmation of his racially insensitive and ignorant views’.

He said: 

It also reinforces the concerns that we hear every day, that the President’s slogan Make America Great Again is really code for Make America White Again.

Mr Trump on Friday tweeted that while he admitted to using ‘tough’ language during the private meeting but that the comments attributed to him were ‘not the language used’.
