It turns out Gods walk among us. Dark Souls 3 only launched in Japan last week, and hasn’t even come out in the West yet. Still, one brave soul has already bossed a speedrun of the game, clocking in at just under two hours.
I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that the Dark Souls games are known for being incredibly difficult, so this is no mean feat. The speedrunner is one Jung Ho Min ( 제하니 on YouTube). He’s now set the bar punishingly high for anyone hoping to challenge him.
Don’t lose hope though. Jung does die a few times in the video, so there’s plenty of wiggle room to perfect his formula and beat him, if you’re so inclined.
For most people, just finishing a Dark Souls game is cause enough for celebration. Of course, there’s always people out there that have to take it one further – there are even some gamers who attempt to beat the games without dying, or even without taking a single hit.
You can watch Jung work his magic in the video below, and maybe pick up some tips for when the game comes out round our way.
Dark Souls 3 comes to the UK on April 12 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
