The dancing kid from Stavros Flatley has been arrested after a shock discovery in a North London flat.
A crazy £50k worth of cannabis has been found in Lagi Demetriou’s flat, after firefighters were investigating a leak in the 20-year-old’s property…
Instead, they burst in on ‘a cannabis factory,’ consisting of a huge watering system, catering for 460 plants.
Angry neighbours called the fire service, after water was found to be pouring through the ceiling after a leak, but after the unexpected discovery, police arrested Lagi as soon as he returned to the building.
A friend told OK magazine, his dad and dancing partner, Demetri Demetriou, was devastated at the news.
They said:
He burst out crying when he heard.
Demetri’s 100 per cent against drugs and will be furious about this.
He said he doesn’t know anything about the cannabis-growing operation.
When Lagi’s not out performing his comical take on traditional dance with his dad, he works as a barber and the pair own several properties around North London.
It is not thought Lagi lives at the property the cannabis farm was found in however and bought the £295,000 flat as an investment after his time in the spotlight.
The 20-year-old and his dad rose to fame after performing a startling-yet-hilarious version of a ‘Greek Riverdance,’ on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009.
Lagi has now been bailed until May, as he awaits further police inquiries.
How bizarre.
