He’s a guy that has stumbled from one gaffe to another throughout his campaign, but has still managed to pretty much clinch the Republican nomination – something that even one of the brightest minds of our age can’t actually understand.
GettySpeaking to ITV’s Good Morning Britain, renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking has failed to find a reason why ‘The Donald’ is so damn popular.
When asked by hosts if he could explain the rise of the controversial billionaire, Hawking replied: “I can’t,” adding: “He is a demagogue who seems to appeal to the lowest common denominator.”
This isn’t the first time Hawking has made his feelings clear about the Presidential candidate either, previously joking about his intelligence.
In his pre-recorded statement he also took the time to address the EU referendum, urging British residents to vote to remain in the EU, for the sake of science, as well as for other economic and security reasons.
