Since Netflix original series Making A Murderer hit our screens barely a month ago, new theories and conspiracies have been bombarding the net constantly, defending Steven Avery’s innocence.
But now, Avery’s new lawyer Kathleen Zellner – who announced earlier this month that she and her legal team would be representing him – has weighed in and it’s attracted a lot of attention.
It seems taking to Twitter to vent her opinion wasn’t one of the best moves ever. Who’d have thought it?
Among her recent tweets supporting her new client, she claims Avery ‘remains innocent & framed’ for the 2005 murder of Theresa Halbach, and she ‘won’t quit until he’s out.’
Here’s just a few of her tweets criticising the prosecution in his murder trial…
She also pointed specific details of the case against Avery which she seems to believe were staged or planted…
From these tweets you wouldn’t think Avery is in safe hands, but Zellner has righted more wrongful convictions than any private attorney in America, apparently…
