Survivors of last week’s terror attack, including school children, will be performing at the One Love Manchester benefit concert at the weekend.

22 people died when Salman Abedi detonated a device in the foyer of Manchester Arena at the end of an Ariana Grande concert. More than 100 people were injured and millions of people have been affected.

Ariana promised to return to the city after the horrendous attack and she is doing just that on Sunday, joined by a host of stars to raise money for victims.

And, in a special twist, twenty-four pupils from Parrs Wood High School’s Harmony Choir have been invited to join Ariana on stage after they recorded a cover of her song My Everything in tribute to the victims.

According to The Times, a ‘number of the singers’ had been at Manchester Arena when the bomb went off. They said they wished to pay their respects through music at the One Love Manchester event.

Millions of pounds have been raised for the victims of the attack through donations and events, including a Liam Gallagher gig at the O2 Ritz.

It will take place on Sunday at Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground and will be broadcast live on BBC One from 6pm.

Those who were at the concert on the night of the attack have been invited to attend the concert for free. General sale tickets were priced at £40 with proceeds going to the victims.

The tickets went on sale this morning and sold out in just six minutes.
