Telltale Games has revealed six minutes of brand spanking new footage of its impending miniseries The Walking Dead: Michonne. The video offers an extended peek at the game’s story, and a good chunk of gameplay.
As the title suggests, The Walking Dead: Michonne focuses on the fan favourite character from the comics and TV series, though it should be noted that this game takes place in the (far grittier) world of the comic book, not the TV adaptation.
In this three part point and click miniseries, Michonne will be played by Orange is the New Black‘s Samira Wiley.
The first episode is called In Too Deep and follows Michonne and her pals as they struggle to survive in a world full of zombies. It’ll be coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, PS3, and Xbox 360 on February 23, with a release for iOS/Android devices on February 25.
Following In Too Deep, episode two is called Give No Shelter and is due in March, while the finale is set for April and is called What We Deserve. Expect bleak subject matter and harsh choices that have you questioning your very morality throughout.
