Terry Crews has tweeted an email he received, regarding the man he accused of sexually assaulting him.
The 49-year-old actor tweeted a screenshot of the email – sent to him by music producer Russell Simmons – which asked him to give the accused ‘a pass’.
His response was spot on…
The email read:
Did he ever apologise Give the agent a pass ask that he be reinstated
With great love, all things are possible
Crews tweeted the following reply:
Message Russell Simmons sent to me regarding my sexual assault case against Adam Venit of @WME:
Dear @UncleRUSH——
NO ONE GETS A PASS

Serious sexual assault allegations have recently been made against Simmons, who’s since made the following statement through a Facebook post:
As a long-time social activist, I have applauded the strength of the brave men and women who have spoken out over the past month and made their voices heard regarding sexual assault and harassment.
I am a supporter of the #MeToo campaign and the victims who were previously terrified to stand up and speak out against sexual misconduct.
I completely and unequivocally deny the horrendous allegations of non-consensual sex against me with every fiber of my being.
He added:
Let me be crystal clear and very direct. Abusing women in any way shape or form violates the very core of my being.
I have always spoken out regarding my life experiences, women’s issues and the need to bring a faster and more decisive shift in the collective consciousness that will help bring about true women’s equality.
More than anything, I want my daughters to live in a more equal world and a world where they will not become victims of sexual harassment.

Crews has recently named WME agent Adam Venit as being the Hollywood Executive who he alleges sexually assaulted him during a pool party back in February 2016.
Appearing on Good Morning America, Crews claimed how Venit ‘squeezed [Crews’s] genitals’ while making inappropriately suggestive tongue movements.
This had been Crews’ first encounter of Venit and he said:
I’ve never felt more emasculated, more objectified. I was horrified.
I will not be shamed. I did nothing wrong … It was foul to the core and it still shocks me.

Crews has said he experienced PTSD following the recent Harvey Weinstein allegations, which prompted him to speak up publicly about the incident.
He’s received praise for drawing attention to the issue of sexual assault against men.
Thank you for your courage. I hope you're surrounded by everything and everyone you need right now. ?

Mr. Crews thank you for speaking out. BlkMen&Boys need to know they can speak out & have support. To @UncleRUSH ?? Your masculine discomfort is not Terry Crews’s issue. Assault doesn’t get a pass. #DoBetter #WeStandWithTerryCrews pic.twitter.com/K9HjbYzUDr

Thank you for staying strong. Forgiveness does not me we don't pursue justice. So many women have been told to give men a pass so we don't ruin their families, their jobs, their reputation. No more.

Tweeting to his fans in October, Crews said:
This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD. Why? Because this kind of thing happened to ME!
My wife and I were at a Hollywood function last year and a high level Hollywood executive came over to me and groped my privates.
Jumping back I said, ‘What are you doing?’! My wife saw everything and we looked at him like he was crazy. He just grinned like a jerk.
