The Avengers are back to save the world, but this time with the help of a shit ton of other celebrities – to fight Donald Trump.
A get-out-and-vote video launched by the film’s director Joss Whedon features 27 actors urging people to register in time to vote Hillary on November 8.
It’s main focus is the danger of a Trump presidency, with the celebrities asking voters to unite against ‘a racist abusive coward who could permanently damage the fabric of our society’, asking: ‘Do we really want to give nuclear weapons to a man whose signature move is firing things?’
The answer? No, America. You definitely do not.
And, as a man who once portrayed a president himself, Martin Sheen points out, the celebs in the video would really prefer it if you didn’t vote for the guy who wants to build a giant wall around America, noting: “We cannot pretend that both sides are equally unfavorable.”
But, considering that sex sells and all, if you do get out and vote, there’s also a promise that Mark Ruffalo will ‘get his dick out’ in his next film role if Trump stays out of office.
In other words? You now know who The Avengers, President Barlett aka Martin Sheen, Stanley Tucci, Captain Mal Reynolds and the guy from Grey’s Anatomy, are voting for. Do with that what you will.
