This is the moment a wedding in Newcastle came to a standstill when a waiter dropped the HUGE cake he was carrying towards the bride and groom.
The bizarre footage shows the unknown waiter carrying the cake through tables full of guests, before suddenly being pushed by another waiter – for some reason.
The cake then appears to be thrown over his shoulder in dramatic fashion, and hits the deck in front of shocked onlookers.

The bride rushes over, looking shocked and concerned, before suddenly realising she had been the victim of a prank. Brilliant.
Guests cheer as they also come to the realisation that the awkwardness has been lifted, and the wedding isn’t actually ruined.
