Until The End Of TimeA big blockbuster biopic about Tupac Shakur has been trying to get off the ground for years now. But despite their being a shit ton of chatter over the years, and a Tupac movie being a license to print money, the movie’s only ever been rumoured. Until now, but unfortunately it looks terrible.
Until The End of Time, an unauthorised Chinese Tupac biopic, has just released its trailer and it looks hilariously awful.
The film is based around a student doing an essay on the late rapper, who after some advice from a teacher (who’s got a moustache that’ll surely rival Charlie Chaplin’s iconic tash in years to come, maybe) learns about the life of Tupac from someone with rare, behind-the-scenes footage of the rapper.
Until The End Of TimeThe movie seems to dip in and out of flashbacks where Tupac is the lead. The iconic rapper is played by an unknown actor called Tsalta Baptiste, who sounds like he’s reading his lines with a mouthful of strawberry yogurt.
The trailer contains some fucking weird moments, that I can’t see the real Tupac ever doing, like awkwardly swaying back and forth to seduce a woman.
To be honest the film looks hilariously bad and isn’t going to impress fans who’ve been waiting for a true representation of the life of Tupac Shakur. That said if you like watching so bad it’s good films this could be one to keep an eye out for.
All that said, the filmmaker’s heart seems to be in the right place. Don’t get too excited though, the film is still in production so you may be waiting just a bit longer for Tupac’s story to hit the silver screen.
