The Division has only been out for a week, but already a storm of rumours, myths, speculations and outright bullshit has swirled up around Ubisoft’s successful RPG shoot and loot title. Luckily, one YouTube channel is now on hand to separate the fact from the fiction.
YouTuber DefendTheHouse has posted a brand new Mythbusters inspired video that focuses on clearing up some of the nonsense regarding The Division.
This isn’t the first time DefendTheHouse has worked at busting videogame myths wide open. They’ve also put together episodes on Fallout 4, Grand Theft Auto V, Metal Gear Solid V, and loads more.
Your burning questions are finally answered, such as “is it true that enemies will not attack you if you are in an elevator” and “can you create a portable Smart Cover by attaching it to a Ballistic Shield?”
Sure, you could easily find this stuff out for yourself, what with it being a videogame with no real life risk whatsoever – but DefendTheHouse does it so you don’t have to, which is thoughtful of them. Check out the video below.
Considering this video is billed as episode one, it seems likely we’ll be getting a second instalment somewhere down the line. After all, The Division is still in its infancy, and there are plenty more myths just waiting to spring up and get shot down.
