The Division is now less than a week away from the launch date of March 8, so Ubisoft have decided it’s time to share another trailer for you to feast your peepers on.
The cinematic video provides a handy set up for the game’s story. A nasty weaponised virus has managed to fuck shit up in a big way, and a near post apocalyptic New York has been overrun by rioters, criminals, and hoodlums. Never forget the hoodlums.
The trailer is littered with quotes that are all indicating The Division is set to be something very special indeed. The open beta alone managed to attract 6.4 million players across PC, PS4 and Xbox One, so we’ll just have to wait and see how many of those liked the game enough to go out and buy it on day one.
Ubisoft certainly has big expectations for The Division – the publisher recently claimed it could sit alongside Destiny, Watch Dogs, and Assassin’s Creed as one of the biggest new IP launches ever.
