The Top Gear boat has sailed and sank on its revamped maiden voyage – but the good news is, The Grand Tour is set to be on our screens relatively soon and judging from this new footage, it looks as good as ever.
With August just around the corner, and with an unspecified release date for sometime next month, this new footage is simply about as good as it gets – featuring an anecdote from Clarkson about dealing with a hangover.

Three videos surfaced on The Grand Tour Twitter page showing the ex-Top Gear team, who quit following Clarkson’s dismissal for assault and alleged racist behaviour, filming on location.
One video also shows the old gang standing on set as a car drives past – which they took off-road – sounding very, very broken.

Throughout the new rendition of Top Gear, which was slammed from day one, the majority of angry viewers complained about the complete lack of chemistry between Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc.
However, in just the few seconds of raw footage from The Grand Tour, it’s clear that that old Top Gear flowing banter is just as fresh as it used to be.

The show, which is thought to grace our screens in August, will air exclusively on Amazon Prime, so if you want to give it a watch you’re gonna have to get yourself an account pretty soon!
