The Incredibles 2 Trailer Has Just Been Released

It’s been thirteen years since we last saw our favourite superhero family don their crime-fighting tights.

We’ve enjoyed some great sequel offerings from other Pixar universes, with Toy Story, Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo all keeping us updated on the adventures of our beloved characters.

However, we haven’t seen mask nor cape* of the heroic Parr family, until now…

(*Although, as we all learnt from Edna Mole, capes are a huge safety hazard for the modern superhero and so this is probably for the best).

A teaser trailer has finally been released for The Incredibles 2 and we have so many questions.

What challenges will our powerful vigilantes be dealing with? Will Violet still be going through her emo phase? Its all to play for…

Check out the teaser trailer below, where fans can get another look at adorable shape-shifting baby Jack-Jack – still in nappies over a decade later:

According to Comic Book, director Brad Bird revealed some intriguing details about the plot and casting at D23:

It’s so great to be here to tell you about the film. It’s fundamentally a story about family…with this new film, we’re excited to jump back into that world.

We have controls able to do so much more than before. The whole world of Incredibles 2 is gonna be greatly expanded upon. We’ll be seeing a lot more of Elastagirl.

There’s an issue with the family’s house. So, the family has to get a new house. As you can see, its kind of a cross between a dream house and a super lair – a secret agents house or something.

Water flows throughout the whole building and its made almost entirely of sharp corners which is not ideal for a baby.

The Parrs have stood strong against diabolical super fan Syndrome, however, will they withstand a family outing to Ikea? Time will tell…

Those of us who were kids when the original, brilliant movie came out, are naturally very excited:

The film is set for release 15 June 2018.
