Horrendous images of a black bear illegally hunted by Cecil the lion killer, Walter Palmer, have emerged online after he allegedly tried to cover them up for a price.

The disgusting images show the dentist standing above the animal in 2006 in Wisconsin, after killing it with a bow and arrow – the same weapon he used to kill Cecil.

After posing for pictures with the magnificent animal, Palmer then reportedly offered the guides a bribe of $20,000 (£12,812) to sweep them under the rug.

However, the Minnesota local only had to pay a $3,000 (£1,922) fine when he was eventually found guilty, due to the signing of a plea agreement.

Since killing Cecil the lion during the now infamous hunt in Zimbabwe, Palmer has become one of the most hated men in America – but has managed to keep a pretty low profile in the weeks following the news.

His crimes, however, haven’t managed to stay as elusive as him. In recent weeks, a disgusting array of animals he has killed – including moose, deer, buffalo, mountain lions and a polar bear – have emerged online.

Palmer’s holiday home in Florida has since been vandalized with graffiti and pigs’ feet, and the dentist has been forced to hire armed 24-hour security for his safety.

It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
