Ten years after Dewey Finn and his fifth-graders stormed the Battle of the Bands competition, Jack Black and the cast of School of Rock reunited… and it was pretty awesome.
The much more grown-up cast of School of Rock reunited in Austin, Texas about two years back and saw Black rejoin his younger counterparts, including Miranda Cosgrove.
This video of the cast reuniting ten years after the film was released will definitely bring back those memories and make you feel pretty old.
When the band took to the stage to perform the title track of the same name, it didn’t sound like they had lost any of that great chemistry and barely missed a beat- despite the fact they hadn’t performed together since filming in 2003.
The song School Of Rock is part of the soundtrack that was nominated for the Grammy Awards in 2004 for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture.
They might look very different nowadays but it seems like they’ve not lost any of the camaraderie they were known for in the film and they were understandably rather excited about the reunion.
