Since the term was first coined back in 2007 the ‘selfie’ has taken on a life all of its own, becoming a steamrolling force for good, evil and just downright oddness.
As with any groundbreaking cultural phenomenon, the form has been adopted, developed and thrown back at us by an army of celebrities desperate to gain those few extra column inches, twitter followers or that last spot on I’m A Vaguely Famous Twat, Please Leave Me Here Forever.
