FacebookJohn Bernecker, a stuntman for The Walking Dead, has tragically died after a stunt gone wrong on set.
Earlier this morning it was reported that Bernecker had fallen off a 25 foot balcony during filming this week.
He was then rushed to Atlanta Medical Center by helicopter and immediately placed on a ventilator, reports TMZ.
Sadly, John, aged just 33, died in the hospital, surrounded by his friends and family, when his ventilator was switched off.
After the fall, swelling had took place on the stuntman’s brain and although it seemed to go down yesterday, it quickly swelled up again.
Bernecker had worked as a stuntman for over 10 years – appearing in films such as Black Panther, The Fate of the Furious, and Logan.
