The World Is Going To End On Halloween, Apparently

For those of you looking forward to a spot of trick or treating or Halloween get together, we have some pretty bad news for you.

A crazy Christian video claims that the world will definitely end on October 31st, due to a catastrophic global earthquake of course.

Not one to shy away from trick or treating, Jesus is apparently going to come down for the rapture- which will in turn cause the poles to flip.

The video – which totally isn’t just religious nut jobs spouting out nonsense – consists of some pretty badass CGI with a very angry Jesus riding in on a white horse, killing everyone except devout Christians – who will obviously be sucked up into heaven.

They also go on to predict that the sun will turn black and the moon red, the stars will fall from the sky and the mountains will melt like wax, The Daily Star reports. Riiiight.

This definitely not bullshit prediction comes courtesy of End Times Prophecies, who you might remember made the exact same prediction a couple of months back- so we probably shouldn’t panic too much.

In fact, news site Inquisitr noted that the date was the only thing that had changed and the channel didn’t even bother to alter the original posting date of the video.

NASA has also point blank denied that a polar flip could cause the destruction of planet Earth.

Its website states:

Many doomsday theorists have tried to take this natural geological occurrence and suggest it could lead to Earth’s destruction. But would there be any dramatic effects? The answer, from the geologic and fossil records we have from hundreds of past magnetic polarity reversals, seems to be no.

Well there you have it, at least we can all sleep easy knowing we still have the chance to dress up as either Harley Quinn or The Joker this Halloween.
