Whether it be because of bad mobile reception or poor customer service, according to a new customer watchdog survey from Which?, it turns out that people really don’t rate Vodafone, EE or international provider Lebara.

However, Giffgaff users are very happy, with the budget, pay-as-you-go operator coming out on top of the survey with a customer satisfaction score of 79 per cent, reports the Independent.

Following closely in second and third place were Asda Mobile (72 per cent) and Tesco Mobile (70 per cent).

Over 4,000 people took part in the Which? survey, rating mobile providers on a range of factors, including customer service, ease of contacting, value for money and incentives.

Lebara, which offers low-cost international calls, came bottom of the survey with a customer satisfaction score of just 46 per cent, while Vodafone and EE trailed close behind on 49 per cent.

Which?

According to Which?, mobile phone users lose a collective £5.4bn annually by being on a contract less than the optimal price for their usage patterns.

Speaking to the BBC, Which? director of campaigns and communications Alex Neill, added:

Our latest survey once again shows that the major mobile providers are still failing on the basics of customer service. Telecoms are an essential part of modern life and so providers need to start delivering for their customers.

Yeah, certain providers definitely need to up their game!
