‘Oh I wish it could be Christmas every daaaay’. Ah, the blissful tones of Wizzard, summarising my thoughts exactly.

I’ll be the first to put my hands up and admit that I am Christmas obsessed. Fairy lights, family get-togethers and let’s not forget prosecco – what more could you want?

It doesn’t matter that we’re still in October and therefore haven’t even celebrated Halloween yet – the fact of the matter is, it’s almost Christmas and I won’t be told otherwise.

Any excuse to celebrate it early and I am all for it. Whether it’s by decorating my flat in tinsel or singing Mariah Carey at the top of my voice, I will be that annoying friend that blasts Christmas songs on repeat two months early.

And now I’m able to do just that (apologies in advance) because a radio station exists playing Christmas songs 24/7 from now until December 25.

Santa Radio – the clue’s in the name – lets its listeners sing along to their festive favourites to their heart’s content in the run-up to the big day.

Exciting, right?

The website boasts that it’s ‘the world’s biggest online Christmas Radio Station on EVERY device’, allowing listeners to listen live from the website or by downloading the Santa Radio app.

Def Jam Records

The app is available on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, Apple Watch, Android, Amazon and more, so there’s no excuse not to get your Christmas jam on (unless you’re Scrooge).

As well as playing your festive favourites, the website also gives you the option to get free personalised messages from Santa. In addition visitors can press buttons to hear Santa’s voice – perfect for parents who need to convince their kids to be nice, not naughty, over the Christmas period.

Their website even lets you have a sneak glimpse at Santa’s playlist – and if you aren’t happy with the options presented to you, you can give your own song suggestions via ‘Santa HQ’.

The playlist includes classics such as Nat King Cole’s Deck The Halls, Frank Sinatra’s Mistletoe And Holly, and The Supremes’ Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.

It also includes pop favourites Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, Wham!’s Last Christmas and Band Aid’s Do They Know It’s Christmas.

Cruz Beckham’s lesser known If Every Day Was Christmas also makes an appearance, so there really is a song for everybody!

Honestly, I’m looking through this playlist and wondering how you could possibly not be happy with the song options. There are so many I haven’t even heard of the majority of them!

But if that really isn’t enough for you and you want to get your Christmas film fix now the dark nights and even colder days are rolling in, look no further because an all day every day Christmas movie channel hit TVs last month.

According to Metro, True Christmas is dedicated to playing both old and new Christmas classics and will continue to do so until January.

The channel airs 24/7 on Freeview 62, Sky 319, Virgin 424 and Freesat 302 – so you no longer have any excuses to miss out on everyone’s festive favourites.

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!
