Spoiler Alert for Harry Potter and The Cursed Child
A small number of lucky devils had the astounding good fortune to see Harry Potter and The Cursed Child last night when the eagerly anticipated play opened for preview.
And there’s massive news which will change the Wizarding World forever! Don’t worry though, it’s not bad news like the return of Voldemort or, even worse, Umbridge – it’s great news!
If you’ve made it this far into the article and failed to spot the fact that there’s going to be an epic spoiler in the next paragraph this is your final warning.
It seems that Hermione Granger, Harry’s book-smart chum wasn’t content to remain a high ranking magical lawyer in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, and eventually worked her way up to the position of Minister of Magic!
J.K. Rowling did ask people not to spoil the play so we’re sorry to pull a Wormtail and break our secret keeper oath but we’re just too excited about this.
Apparently, according to the early reviews, the play is a wonderful return to the magical world we’ve all missed so much, with fans particularly praising actress Noma Dumezweni’s fantastic performance.
This’ll be a poke in the eye for those complaining about the casting…
