Warner Bros.Has there ever been a more exciting time to be a Harry Potter fan? First we get a play, then a new trilogy of films, and now a whole new book!
Today, Rowling announced that the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be available as a brand new hard-cover book, and it’s set to be released on November 19, the day after the movie premieres.
The newest book will be similar to the upcoming Harry Potter and the Cursed Child script book, which is set to be released on July 31, 2016.

A new book from J.K. Rowling is always a good reason to celebrate. But this year will mark the first time the author has published a screenplay, which you’ll be able to buy as a print edition from Little, Brown (UK) or Scholastic (US and Canada), or as an eBook right here on Pottermore.
While some fans may be disappointed that the book’s not going to be a full novel, we (as ravenous fanboys) are excited for any opportunity to return to the wonderful wizarding world, and can’t wait to read the script.
Fantastic Beasts will tell the story of Newt Scamander, a bumbling magical zoologist who finds himself embroiled in the murky world of wizard and muggle relations in 1920s New York.
A number of big names are set to star in the movie including Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell, Ron Perlman, Dan Fogler, Katherine Waterston and rumours are that a young Albus Dumbledore may even be making a cameo.
Rowling originally wrote a short version of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them for Comic Relief back in 2001, based on the fictional textbook of the same name.
