The first epic trailer for Avengers: Infinity War landed this afternoon sending Marvel fanboys across the world into meltdown mode.
It’s certainly been a long time coming but finally we have our first look at the epic superhero film which is set to be the biggest in history.
Uniting the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and pretty much every other superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, our heroes must band together to fight the evil Thanos, a huge villain we’ve been teased with since 2012.
You can watch the awesome trailer here:

There are plenty of fantastic moments in the trailer, aside from Captain America’s new incredible facial hair, that’ll make you gasp and want to leap for joy, as well as seeing all our favourite characters coming together.
However, as some Marvel fans have noticed, one small but mighty hero is missing from the footage leaving us questioning where exactly is he?
Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man is Marvel’s tiniest, yet sometimes largest superhero and everyone expected him to appear in the trailer, alongside the endless list of other heroes.
Yet it appears he’s nowhere in sight no matter how hard you look for his tiny figure.

[insert obligatory “ant-man was in every scene u just can’t see him cuz he’s tiny” joke here]

His appearance has certainly been missed from the trailer but fans shouldn’t fear as he’s definitely in the film.
Not only is his character listed as featuring on IMDb, but in a Vanity Fair shoot for the film, he takes centre stage in one photo alongside Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp – a character which will star next to Rudd’s nifty superhero in Ant-Man And The Wasp.
Lilly’s Wasp is also missing from the first trailer for Infinity War but I’m sure the two will be featured in the next teaser and who knows, maybe we’ve just missed their tiny figures in this footage?
After a decade of unprecedented success, @MarvelStudios is at a pivotal moment: the looming farewell to some of its founding superheroes, and the rise of a new generation. https://t.co/JoKFAtWZA5 pic.twitter.com/ed9u2kiNQx

People are also questioning why one of the original Avengers is also missing from the trailer – Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye.
Fans love the arrow slinging hero and once again, as with Ant-Man, he’s also listed as appearing in the film, according to IMDB.
He’s in the Vanity Fair shoot too so why isn’t there a single shot of him in this footage?
Okay but where is HAWKEYE ?

However, some fans believe he can indeed be spotted in the trailer, 22 seconds in – go back and have a look!
Yet because this is a dark shot of someone’s back, you just don’t know whether it’s hi, or the lovely Clint Barton.
Is that Hawkeye at 0.22, with his back turned?

Directors of the film, the Russo brothers, along with Marvel boss Kevin Feige, have warned fans heartbreak can be expected from the next instalment in the MCU.
Of course, this has us all worried about which one of our favourite characters is going to die in Infinity War – something which is massively hinted at.
Maybe it will be Hawkeye, a hero whose death will certainly shake up the team due to him being a founding member, not to mention his friendship with Black Widow?
In the comic books, Thanos ends up killing everyone, so who knows which characters will be on his hit list for the film?
