Everyone’s pretty worried about Trump right now, but not for the reasons you might think.

Apparently the President-elect’s safety is under threat and America is going to extreme lengths to protect him.

So much so, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has declared the sky surrounding Trump Tower a No Fly Zone for security reasons.

Fearing an aerial terror attack, the FAA have thrown Trump a security blanket by declaring the two nautical miles surrounding Trump Tower a protected area.

According to TMZ, pilots have been ordered to stay clear of the building on 5th Ave until 21 January 2017, the day after Inauguration.

The restrictions also apply to the Indiana residence of Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence, whose home is covered by a one mile protection.

Donald Trump erected the 202m building, which pierces the New York skyline from its base on Manhattan’s prestigious Fifth Avenue, in 1979.

The 58-storey skyscraper, which is allegedly now under a high risk security threat, is home to Trump’s penthouse condominium and his business headquarters.

It also houses a number of premises used by the public, from ground-floor retail outlets as well as numerous private residences.

No doubt the FAA’s decision is heavily-influenced by the tragic events of 11 September 2001.

Although you may think this sounds like a vast expense to American security services, actually, these measures will protect many New Yorkers and tourists alike.

However, the instantaneous lock-down of airspace is a damning condemnation of Trump’s global unpopularity and the fear instigated by his victorious but divisive campaign.
